Why create durable links?
- The subscribed databases offer permanent links which are web addresses that remain unchanged over time and are designed to provide stable and reliable access to specific online resources.
- Adding permanent links to the syllabus or on BlackBoard Learn simplifies the process for students to access the required readings, articles, or other digital resources from various locations.
- However, “Permanent Links” have to be converted “Durable Links” for students to access the resources on and off campus.
- Durable links can be used in email, web pages, BlackBoard, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
