The Peer Review Process
An article written for publication in a scholarly journal undergoes rigorous evaluation through a peer review process.
Specialists, or scholars in the same field as the author, evaluate the submitted manuscripts. They assess the quality of the scholarship, reliability of findings and relevance to the field.
